06:00 am: Looks as though it'll be Longmeadow if it's anywhere
Assuming our P&S gets signed tomorrow*, we'll be putting an offer on the Tudor we like so much (small yard, gorgeous house). If that doesn't work out, our next two choices are also both in Longmeadow.

Our fourth alternate is the cheap one in Amherst that needs work. I doubt it'll come to that. We plan to make a fair offer. If the first seller doesn't want it, I'm confident the second or third will (the houses have been on the market for quite a while).

In the meantime, today, the day of the first training I'm supposed to conduct in the new system, I have a nasty stomach bug. So it'll either be virtual training or it'll be postponed.

:sigh:

* I'm not feeling as confident about this as I was. The buyer saw the garage last night and found no problems (because there aren't any). She brought her realtor's son (WTF?) with her, and he wanted to see our basement. I'd told my realtor not to let them in the house because we hadn't had time to clean. The realtor's son took umbrage. So the buyer (and maybe the realtor's son? dunno) are coming back tonight. Someone (dunno who) is concerned about standing water in the basement after the big storm.

There is no standing water in the basement. There is some water, from seepage. I disclosed seepage in the seller's disclosure, which the buyer has supposedly signed. But Priscilla the fuckwit is the one who was supposed to get it signed, so you can just imagine how confident I am that she got it done.

I'm totally fucking sick of this. How many fucking inspections is a buyer entitled to do? I've been careful to be open, honest, and very fucking accommodating through this whole fucking process. Hell! The buyer has said she would like to keep the cabinet I'd offered to leave in the garage for her (it's huge, fits the space perfectly, and would be a PITA to move, though it's very, very handy and I would find space for it anywhere we moved). That's pretty fucking generous of me.

Fucking fuck fuck fuck.

over would be nice

But I don't want it over at absolutely any price. I worry that I'm like the frog who gets boiled as it slowly adjusts to the increasing temperature, y'know?

...except I'm Sorry.

I'm excited about your houses and the lovely array of choices you have. I'm really not happy with the fuckwit. You had the inspection, what more can they ask for (except to inspect until they find something wrong?)?

I'm so sorry you're sick. This sounds like a crappy day. But it's noon, so maybe it'll get better? There's always hope, right?

We did get a revised P&S today, so that's progress. We're supposed to sign the damned thing tomorrow. So we'll sign it and get this whole fucking thing over with, or we won't sign and I'll be fucking done with it anyway.
