09:39 am: at least we got a break this time
Teddy's sick again. Thank goodness he miraculously became a four-year-old since his last cold; it's far more pleasant dealing with a sick human being than a sick demon.

And yet, still not so pleasant. We're missing music class (we've missed one class per session with music this winter - so every 4 weeks). He's coughing and sniffling and refusing to let anyone else blow his nose. DON'T SQUEEZE MY NOSE. His method involves wiping the snot across his face, which drives me somewhat nuts. But it's his nose and his face, so I'll deal.

It'll be blocks and crayons and maybe even some :gasp: TV for us today.

I hope Teddy is feeling better now. Nicolas can and will use tissues, however, they are not always handy, so he usually just wipes the snot on the back of his sleeve. Drives me crazy and it is GROSS, but he can't be convinced (or else just doesn't think about it) to get up and get tissues when they are needed.

Sick children suck, but are most assuredly better than sick demon children.

Teddy will wipe his nose on his sleeve (usually upper arm though - he just turns and smears - ICK ICK ICK), but he LOVES tissues. Clean tissues. He'll sorta dab one at his nose, won't even get it the slightest bit soiled, then insists on a new tissue because "that one is dirty! I need a new ooooone!"

Ha - that is what Jackson does. He runs to get a tissue, dabs his nose but basically either doesn't get anything on the tissue or just manages to smear it across his face, then needs to grab another one. Nicolas' sleeves are just gross by the end of the day. He also enjoys (UGH) picking his nose. Yuck. I keep trying to get him to use a tissue for that little excursion as well, but so far no luck.
