07:20 am: What's your favorite Star Wars spaceship?
I like the Millennium Falcon, and the X-Wing Fighters. But I'm not going to tell you that again, because I've answered that question 12 times in the last 5 minutes.

OK. Let's talk about the people. Who are your favorite people in Star Wars?

:sigh:

Yes, we watch the second Star Wars trilogy this weekend. Which I always want to call the first trilogy because they came first, dammit.

Needless to say, Teddy loves Star Wars. Especially since he learned how to fast-forward through the scary parts.

War is not scary. Fighting is not scary. Death is not scary. Monsters are not scary (most of them anyway; he didn't like the Sarlacc). Yoda's swamp on Dagobah is scary.

Allrighty then.

Just last week, Teddy was saying he wanted to watch Star Wars when he was a bigger boy. But the toys at McDonald's (he has a Chewbacca-robot thingy, which I don't understand in terms of the Star Wars pantheon, but whatever) apparently convinced him that he was ready.

And y'know? He did just fine. With fast-forward.

welcome, Teddy, to the (non?)dark side... Just skip the "second" trilogy. No child should be subjected to Jar Jar Binks.

Nor should I be subjected to JJB again. Once was more than enough.
