10:59 am: Life List #4: Skills to Learn
- Make cheese (and not paneer either - something like cheddar)
- Make a really good salad dressing (mine are ok, but not spectacular)
- Meditate (gotta listen to Pema Chödrön when I'm not on a train)
- Crochet (I can knit, but have failed at crocheting)
- Sing the blues (or really anything; I used to be able to sing, but have lost any skill)
- Tap dance (trying to get lessons for me & T this fall)
- Do a body roll (I've done 'em a couple of times, when someone really good led me, but can't do 'em on my own)
- Write ledes
- Build something (don't care much what, but preferably something with wood)
- Restraint

Ah, Kate. You're so ambitious.

I have survived fine without crocheting. And, except for a period of envy in elementary school (whether of Shirley Temple or the kids who took who took lessons), tap.

lead paragraph in a news story (spelled lede to distinguish it from lead type)

Ledes

Why would this be needed in an age when almost all type isn't lead. (And the term confuses the h*** out of people who grew up with lead type.) Another way to confront aging in America? Ho, ho, ho. I don't think any more are needed. Isn't it obvious. My bucket list has spilled all over and I can't clean it up!

add dancing to the mix for total confusion

One of my pet peeves is people who misspell the past tense of "lead," which comes up a lot in dancing.

You were LED, you were not LEAD - that would make you an immobile and potentially dangerous dancer!

There's nothing on this list that a guinea pig can purchase on the internet.

These lists provide interesting insight. Thank you for sharing.

Wizard, is that you?

No guinea pig-related activities at all. I still have 6 to go, so there's hope yet...
