: Life List #6: Music to hear
Oops. Forgot all about these. And this really ought to be sounds, not just music. Most of the concerts I'd really like to attend (and haven't) are for people who are dead (Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, the Band - the original Band).
In any case, these are things I want to hear - live and in person.
- My Grandchild's voice (many years from now, of course)
- Tibetan bells and singing bowls
- Hunchback whale songs
- Iguazu Falls, Argentina
- Chowchilla "alarm clock" in the rainforest
- Lion purr (or tiger or cheetah or whatever; I'm not fussy)
- Aretha Franklin
- Alison Krauss and the Cox Family
- Young at Heart Chorus
- Paul and Storm
