07:35 am: interesting how his mind works
Teddy woke up this morning and asked, apropos of nothing: "What's that movie that you were watching with occhi_cinesi and A?"

"I don't remember watching a movie with them."

"The man said 'Darth Vader'."

"Eddie Izzard! Mommy loves that movie."*

"Michael Savage is angry all the time. Maybe that man was Michael Savage."

"No, that was Eddie Izzard. He was pretending he was Darth Vader. Darth Vader is a very, very angry man."

"Was he pretending he was Darth Vader because his clothes were black?"

"No, because it was funny. But that movie is for grown-ups."

Michael Savage is Eddie Izzard? um... no.

But I'm fascinated with this conversation on many levels. Who wakes up thinking about a youtube clip he saw once, months ago? (Especially when his conversation 'til then had been "please open the window so I can see the colors" and "I'm holding your nur.") And equates the actor with someone with a totally different accent (but a very similar mood)? Or figures maybe someone chose a character because of his clothes? And perhaps made a parallel between the humor that two different parents find in two totally different things in two different media?

Teddy, of course.

This part of parenting is wonderful.
