07:40 am: reading reading reading
Seems as though every time I turn around or cock an ear, I see or hear Teddy reading. He likes to be in my office while I'm working, and he'll often pull a Harry Potter or an Honor Harrington off the shelf and start reading. Or he'll sit on his playmat in the big bedroom - the playmat where he used to race cars - and read to himself.

I am so totally diggin' this.

The stop sign on the office door quit working altogether, mostly through my own failure to reinforce it. The thing is, it's not anyone's presence to which I object when I'm in meetings; it's people's noise that's the problem (whether inside or outside the room). So I took down the oft-ignored stop sign and put up a quiet sign. So far, so good.

We're gearing up for Easter. Peter will stay at home again (he has Issues around Easter). Teddy and I will go to my folks' house after our (indoor, probably) egg hunt here for a second hunt, better than the first. And Eastover dinner with friends and family, too. I do love seeing all the kids together.

I will be depleting the present closet to stock the Easter basket, and am happy to be doing so. First off, I love not spending money (especially when our escrow has gone up again :sigh: ); second, it's time for some inventory rotation.

My company is closing early for Good Friday; unfortunately, I have a meeting that goes right up 'til the end of the day anyway. :grr: Further proof that Friday afternoon meetings are wrong and bad.

Do you buy presents on sale/clearance and then stock them up in a closet? That is a great idea. I'm trying to get into couponing which means I have to get used to doing a little stockpiling of stuff I don't need right now but had too good of a sale/coupon(s) to pass up.

I sure do

I also buy things whenever I'm anyplace unusual, although those tend to be targeted to specific recipients.

I'm big on stocking up.
