06:16 am: Things I Love to Do (Chookooloonks' Challenge)
Karen Walrond, of Chookooloonks, is one of my favorite bloggers. She's doing a year-long Own Your Beauty project with BlogHer, in conjunction with the release of her book The Beauty of Different. Her first post challenges her readers to "list everything you love to do that fills you with joy and/or grace," and keep that list where you can find it.

So here's what I've come up with, as a pre-dawn start. It's sure a happy thing to think about.
- Snuggling Teddy, reading to Teddy, doing art projects with Teddy, playing with Teddy, cooking with Teddy, listening to Teddy's ideas...
- Hangin' out with Peter (with and without Teddy), especially walking and talking in new places
- Talking to friends (including family), especially face-to-face
- Reading to kids
- Talking to people about social media (and exploring social media myself)
- Learning
- Reading
- Dancing
- Baking
- Walking
- Going to the theater
- Wrapping gifts
- Drawing with Craypas
- Smelling cinnamon, vanilla, fresh-baked bread, ocean air, tomato plants...
- Eating really good chocolate
- Making someone (anyone?) smile or, even better, laugh
- Fixing problems, whether it's giving people access to something they need, helping someone to understand where someone else is coming from, getting a sink to drain, picking up a dropped stitch, figuring out a storage issue, changing a system or process, whatever

There are also a bunch of things I love to finish, but where I don't necessarily enjoy the process as much (knitting projects, filing, cleaning, working out).

How 'bout you? What do you do that fills you with joy?
