07:39 pm: that was faster than I expected
I got a surprise package today: a package of Brazil nuts covered in dark chocolate, per my last post. The package was from nuts.com and appears to be actually, y'know, from nuts.com. The packing slip says "You can scratch this one off the list. I hope they're yummy!" So I expected it to be from one of y'all, but the signature is "The Nuts.com Family," which is fairly fantastic.*

If one of y'all did it, 'fess up or you won't get credit. As it is, nuts.com has got themselves a major fan and advocate in me. What a totally cool thing to do! woo hoo, web crawlers!

Granted, it would've been singularly awkward if the nuts weren't so very, very tasty.

But they are tasty indeed. And I have indeed crossed that off my tasting life list (and put them on my "stuff to buy for self-indulgence" list). I'd thought it would take at least a couple of weeks to start crossing stuff off, but nope.

* Getting them whilst feeling sorry for myself (cramps, y'know) was a bonus. No more self-pity. For today, anyhoo.

that is so freaking cool!!!! i love it!

i have a recommendation for your salted caramels -- voges haut chocolat. you can order them online, but stores all over the place (including whole foods) carry some of their stuff and may have them. they are INSANE.

What a wonderful treat-- wish I had thought of it, but I'm not that bright -- and way too tied up trying to open the house! If the company did it, we should all give them lots of business. On the other hand, they had your address . . . .

dang! good point!

DUH, didn't think of that!

Name and town are listed here, but not address.

Huh. That's a bit alarming, actually.
